Classic Dry Rubbed Buffalo Wings

Get ready for classic buffalo wings to be your new favorite. This simple spice rub will elevate your wings to the next level and the oven or air fryer cooking method makes these the perfect healthy dinner or party snack you have been searching for.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs Chicken wings
  • 1 Tbsp Season salt
  • 2 Tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Buffalo sauce

Method
 

  1. Mix all of your spices together.
  2. Pat wings until they are dry, place in a large bowl, and toss with seasonings until they are evenly coated
For the Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 450F
  2. Place wings 1.5 inches apart on a parchement lined baking sheet. Spray with avocado oil.
  3. Put wings in the oven on the lowest wrack. Bake for 30-35 mintues or until skin is crispy and meat has begun to pull away from drumstick bone.
  4. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
For air Fryer
  1. Preheat air fryer at 400F for 5 minutes.
  2. Place wings in single layer and fry for ~12 mintues, shaking half way though. Adjust cooking times depending on your specific device. Skin should be crispy and meat should be pulling away from drumstick bone.
  3. Place wings on drying wrack and repeat with remain wings as needed.
  4. Serve immediatly.
Serving
  1. You can toss wings in your favorite sauce OR serve them with sauces on the side.
  2. Enjoy!
